Do you have a university syllabus that manages to only or mostly have white cis-men on it? Are you pretty 'over' having to read material that reinforces white supremacy, patriarchy, heteronormativity, ableism and maybe ignores your or other peoples experience and or actively delegitimizes your identity? Although Uni's offer feedback mechanisms for courses talking about this to lecturers, it can often lead to defensiveness/anger and or not be taken seriously. If you want to highlight how a course you are taking/have taken which should really be 'ashamed' of itself then send us an email at universityofcolour@gmail.com so that we can can post the name of the course online whilst you can remain anonymous if you wish. This way people can consider this before taking the course, we can create more public accountability and we can get greater awareness of how many syllabi in our universities need to be challenged/changed. For copyright reasons we cant actually post the syllabi itself. Feel free also to add more of a description about the course and the content of the syllabi.
